 The highly anticipated Masterclass Series , organized by the Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA) and financially supported by CreateHK and the Film Development Fund, has made a comeback.After 5 years, AFAA is once again collaborating with the Tokyo International Film Festival to co-organize the Masterclass.This year's edition will feature the iconic Hong Kong actor Mr Tony Leung Chiu Wai who has recently received the Golden Lion Award for Lifetime Achievement at the Venice Film Festival and the esteemed Outstanding Contribution to Asian Film Award at the 16th Asian Film Awards.Leung will graciously tell insights from the illustrious acting career during this exclusive event.


The highly anticipated master class is scheduled to take place on 26th October 2023, at the HULIC Hall Tokyo, Japan.Coinciding with the event, the Film Festival will also screen the timeless masterpiece 2046, directed by Mr Wong Kar Wai, providing Japanese film enthusiasts with an opportunity to relish Leung's exceptional acting skills once again.
