The Importance of Women's Participation in the Economy

 Women participation in the economy as the Entepreneur, Worker and Consumers are important for economic growth and development.The participation of women in building society is a human right recognized by International Law and should be protected. The society that actively promote and values the participation of women is more just equitable and prosperous for all.

Women participation in peace building and conflict resolution is essential for creating sustainability peace and security in communities and countries. In modern times, women in Muslim from majority country continued to have the important role in promoting trade and economic development. Women entrepreneurs have established successful business in various sectors including technology , finance and manufacturing. They also become the instrumental in promoting women's empowerment , creating job opportunities and contributing to the overall economic growth of their societies.

Despite the recognition of Women's economic potential in Islam , women always face the various challenges in accessing financial resources , education and opportunities .Continous effort from all side definitely important to create an enabling environment that supports women's economic empowerment and promotes gender equality. 

Islam encourages woman to invest in their education and skills to increase independence.The Prophet Muhammad SAW (Peace Be Upon Him) said : 'Acquiring knowledge is a duty upon every Muslim from both gender.This Hadith highlights the importance of education and encourages women to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to earn a livelihood.

Islam also recognized the importance of social justice and fair distribution to the poor people .Muslim are encouraged to give charity and support those in need regardless of gender.

Surah Al Hadid Verse 18 States , Indeed then men and women who practice charity -it will be multiplied for them and they will have a noble reward.This verse highlights the importance of charity and urges Muslims to help those in need.
