Rest In Love , Pope Francis


Pope Francis has died at the age of 88, the Vatican confirmed on Monday.His final public appearance took place on Easter Sunday, when an aide delivered a message on his behalf calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and describing the humanitarian crisis as 'deplorable'.The pontiff had been hospitalized in February with double pneumonia.Serving as the first Pope from America, he led the Catholic Church from 2013.


Pope Francis was known for his strong criticism of Israel's action in Gaza.In December 2024, following an Israeli airstrike on Jabalia that killed 7 people, he stated , This is cruelty and this is not war.


In the final days of his life, Pope Francis used his voice to call for peace. 


Even from his hospital bed, he made nightly calls to the only parish priest left in Gaza- a quiet yet powerful act of solidarity with a people under seige.


Pope Francis is gone-but he  didn't stay silent. 


He called Gaza's suffering 'deplorable' condemned Israel's brutality and asked the world to.see the children of Gaza.May his legacy be a reminder, true faith means standing with the oppressed .


Her dedication towards humanity is highly appreciated .Rest In Love.
