The Devil Wears Prada is a 2006 American film about fashion and career women directed by David Frankel & produced by Wendy Finerman. The screenplay written by Aline Brosh McKenna, is based on the 2003 novel by Lauren Weisberger. The film stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway , Emily Blunt & Stanley Tucci .It follows Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) , an aspiring journalist who gets a job at a fashion magazine but find herself at the mercy of her demanding editor , Miranda Priestly(Meryl Streep).
Emily Blunt as Emily introduced through this film and the character of Emily still iconic until now.
The film score as a Box Office film for 2006 for United States & International.
I view this film as the Intern Girl for the Corporate Field at that time.Love it (I already love Anne Hathaway since her introduction for Princess Diaries & Meryl Streeps, who can say they are not adore with her talent and Emily Blunt, one of her precious work until now.The introduction about fashion for me as well. The Devil Wears Prada still lands for many adults because it's about choices, ambition and what you are willing to sacrifice for career.
For your opinion, why adult able to relate this film with their career & life conflict .Many see Andy as realistic career hunger & growth. Many young girls at that time feel like the movie resonates with them more as a woman who is getting to a similar stage of life same with Andy.
The film evaluate by the audience not only about fashion and it's learning real world skills .Andy quickly learn this through her working experience with Miranda and gets rid of the victim mentality .
While , Miranda definitely the example of how devoting everything you have to your craft is a bad idea.
I'm truly happy that this film will have sequel from 1 May 2026.Let's purchase the tickets to view the sequel .Let's go.
